For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an artist. I am never happier than with a calligraphy pen or paint brush in my hand and I count myself very lucky that I have been able to turn my passion into a business which fits in around my busy family life.
I chose jewellery and silversmithing for my degree at London Guildhall University and have since developed my skills in watercolour illustration, modern calligraphy and brush lettering.
Today I live with my husband, three children and our black Labrador, Bingo in the beautiful countryside just outside Bath where I have a little studio in the corner of our garden.
My passion for calligraphy and lettering runs deep as my grandfather was a professional sign writer. I'm sure he would be proud to know that in a way I am following in his footsteps and now work as an calligraphy artist..
